The Tender Co-ordinator shall be responsible for the preparation of tenders and proposals, and Business Development in specific regions, under the guidance and advise of the Business Line Manager. The Project Manager role shall be responsible for the overall day-to-day management of specific projects with the goal to ensure that projects are executed in accordance with procedures and to Clients specifications.

Specific tasks include:

On the commercial side:

Assist in sale of services and Business Development of the business line of Positioning & Remote Services
Advise on marketing material
Initiate client contact and Account management
Compile proposals & tenders
Maintain knowledge on new techniques/ technologies in positioning
Follow up on a regular basis with clients
 

On the Project Management side:
 
Establish project procedures and budgets
Planning of project operations
Co-ordination of staff and equipment resources
Liaise with clients, perform site visits
Provide remote support to onsite field staff
Ensure project is executed to client specifications
Monitor project performance, ensure profitability
Monthly invoicing

•  The Oil & Gas Industry requires working in emergency situations which means being able to go on missions on short notice.
• The candidate must have a medical certificate to work offshore. A Safety Course Certificate would be highly appreciated.

Profile
Technician Diploma or Experience in survey

Geotechnical Engineer Responsibility:

Tender and project preparations with regard to all foundation related subjects.
Prepare pile installation, sway and pile drive ability studies.
Prepare suction pile installation studies.
Prepare structure on bottom stability and mudmat designs.
Offshore project support for pile driving/suction and pile monitoring.
Develop and maintain know-how.
Prepare technical specifications for foundation subcontractors and review of subcontractor engineering/procedures.

Civil Engineering specialized in soil mechanics.
Good knowledge of the English language.

Our client is currently seeking a GIS Operator to join their team.

Under general supervision, prepare scale construction and other drawings for all proposed pipeline installations and revisions to existing systems while using Geographic Information System (GIS) tools; maintain, copy, and distribute various information; prepare site and isometric station drawings for above ground facilities; perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:
Drafting Technology Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years experience with GIS systems.

Development and production of GIS mapping products including the design and implementation of digital and hard-copy maps. On-going maintenance of GIS data sets.

Providing technical support and expertise to internal staff and the general public regarding day to day and requests
for GIS information and analysis. Liaising with other departments, agencies and general public on technical matters related to GIS applications and products.

Conducting programmatic and manual analysis and creating reports and thematic maps based on the data within the GIS. Ensuring that quality assurance on new or revised data conforms to Corporate GIS standards. Converting, importing and exporting data in and out of the GIS system.

Assisting with communication and training sessions related to the Enterprise GIS. Preparing regular status reports, highlighting GIS issues which requires attention. Creating and documenting procedures.

The Senior Planner/ Team Lead organises and co-ordinates the Planning and Offshore Personnel support team. Ensures that planning is aligned with operational requirements and offshore personnel personal development plans. Some of the specific duties are:  

• Responsible for the coordination of the planning and offshore personnel support team
• Responsible for department process improvements and the development of the planning and support team
• Focal point for all offshore personnel planning and operational support issues
• Responsible for the effective and efficient utilization of offshore personnel, meeting company targets as defined by MOPR
• Minimum 50% of time spent on the execution of planning activities at senior planner level
• Ensure that planning is aligned with operational requirements and offshore personnel personal development plans
• Focal point for personnel suppliers (agencies) and negotiation of rates
• Focal point for the resolution of daily operational offshore personnel issues
• Responsible for the reporting of monthly department figures and KPIs
• Responsible for the timely signaling of offshore personnel shortages / abundance and training requirements to meet project scheduling needs
• Point of contact for ICO personnel exchanges

As Lead Surveyor with BP Egypt, you'll be responsible for survey and positioning assurance for the Region. One of the first needs will be to prepare for the start of a major development project in the West Nile Delta in 2012. On international assignment to Cairo, we will look to you to get the best out of your team (a mix of expatriate and national staff), as well as to oversee budget control and contractor management.

The background we’re looking for
For a role with challenges like these, we look for a degree in Surveying or Geomatics, or an equivalent qualification, combined with a solid background in a broad range of offshore survey operations. It also requires deep technical knowledge of positioning by both GNSS and acoustic methodologies. Thorough knowledge of fundamentals like geodesy, coordinate reference systems and transformations is expected. You’ll also have expertise in project management including procurement, contract review and negotiation, and financial controls, with the ability to prioritise the demands of multiple tasks. Familiar with HSSE management systems, you’ll have a portfolio of effectively managed survey projects to your credit. Ideally, you’ll bring to the role knowledge of data management and analysis by GIS and membership of a professional surveying institution. The Cairo role is offered as a full-time expatriate assignment.
